Auctus’ students are better prepared for employment in the aged care industry.
We include specific practical components, manual handing and personal care workshops. We offer our students a unique empowerment program which develops resilience techniques, effective communication skills in order to create a solid foundation to be the ultimate employee.
Auctus understands the different learner types and whether you be a theoretical or practical learner we strive to suit both with our approach.
We support our Students along their journey with Auctus
Auctus is committed to your success and as a way of honouring that promise we offer each student assistance along your entire journey with us ………. even 12 weeks after your completion date!!!
Our amazing simulation LAB allows you to experience what a day at work in an aged care or disability facility will be and practice your skills before you go on placement. Check the Gallery menu section to see how our LAB looks like.
Auctus offers our students the opportunity to gain a dual qualification in both Aged Care and Disability. With these specialisations, this enables you also to work in Community Care.
In order to gain the dual qualification, we will provide you the opportunity to go on placement in both Aged Care and the Disability field. You will be required to do 120 hours in both aged and disability workplaces.
We partner with a range of quality age care and disability providers in Adelaide. Students with the right attitude will be offered placements which will match their career needs best.
